For the Love of Birding
Birding photography is not for the faint at heart...but it can be rewarding. Either you have to sit still for hours on end hoping for the perfect shot or sometimes you just get lucky. It can be frustrating, especially when you finally locate the bird with your camera and just as you get it into focus...bam they fly away! but every once in awhile you get a bird that just seems to love having its photo taken and you say, "Thank you".
Sometimes it's best to just sit back and watch them fly, perch high in the tree and listen to their songs...no photo needed to enjoy the beauty in nature.
Photo 1 and 2 are Gold Finches taken in my back yard, #3 is a Tree Swallow and #4 is a White Egret both taken along the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy in Bay City, MI
